For more than five years, the Pop-Up Project has worked to support, promote and connect artists across the Southern Highlands, building a platform that showcases local creatives, grows audiences and creates meaningful opportunities for artists to exhibit and collaborate.
As we move through 2026, we invite artists who have benefited from this community to help support the next chapter. This year we are actively applying for grants and building partnerships that will allow us to deliver bigger exhibitions, expanded training opportunities, deeper community engagement, larger creative trails and new boutique art markets in the future.
Artists who join the Pop-Up Project membership in 2026 will also receive an exclusive 20% discount on our new 2027 membership package, which will introduce significant new initiatives and opportunities for the region’s creative community. The Pop-Up Project has always been about artists supporting artists, and we are excited to have you on the journey as we build the next phase together.
For Southern Highlands – based artist Natalie Will, art is more than a creative pursuit – it’s a way of connecting people through stories. Working across acrylic and watercolour painting, collage, mixed media and even sculptural forms, Natalie embraces both the playful and the political in her practice. Her works invite audiences to reflect, laugh, question and sometimes even sit in discomfort – all in the name of dialogue and connection.
Natalie is participating in the Southern Highlands Arts Trail, Studio number 15 – Corinne Dany Studios at 4/8 Davy Street, Mittagong.
The Pop-Up Project was established in 2021, when a group of Southern Highlands artists wanted the opportunity to open their studios, share their story, build their brand and connect with new art lovers and collectors all year round.
We currently represent 32 artists – we hope you enjoy meandering through each of their profiles and map out where you would like to visit each June long weekend. Can’t wait? Feel free to contact each artist directly to organise a private appointment. 17 of our artists will open this November as part of the Southern Highlands Art Trail too!
