Michael Adamietz crafts bowls, platters, jewellery, pens and other items from reclaimed and sustainably grown timber. He uses Australian native timbers as well as exotics from overseas, with timber grown here in the Southern Highlands a favourite. Through the lathe, Michael creates pieces both beautiful and useful that reveal the grain and textures of the timber. Michael also creates a new life for vintage and antique furniture through repair, restoration, and upholstery. By applying traditional and modern techniques and materials the furniture is rejuvenated for a place in today’s homes.
