With a background including an Arts degree, an Art therapy diploma, and craft studies I have found my medium in mosaics. With extensive travel and mosaic studies in Italy I love to mix traditional and contemporary techniques. Exhibiting and creating mosaics offers me boundless possibilities for expression. The variety of available glass and the way it reflects light inspires me. I also incorporate mixed media together with glass into many of my mosaics. The technique of placing small pieces of beautiful materials (called tesserae) enable me to immortalise the images of my imagination.
