Jodie Kilmister – Blue Kitchen Studio

I paint and draw the beautiful Southern Highlands landscape in oil, watercolour and pastel – both en plein air and in the studio. My work outside is a form of note taking and information gathering. I use these visual notes in the studio to create artwork which leans a little more towards abstraction, simplifying and expressing my experience of our unique, local landscape.
