My style has been heavily influenced by the things that I loved unapologetically as a teenager as well as a few other gems that I have picked up on the way to middle age. I feel that when I grew up and became an adult I entered this world of grey and beige. Stuck in uniforms ,representing an organisation or an agenda rather than expressing who I was or wanted to be.
In my reinvention of myself I have embraced the things I love without the shame of being daggy, silly or different. My works are diverse but are all linked through the joy they ooze and the use of bright colour and distinct mark making.
