Travelling from where the Great Southern Ocean touches the coast of Australia up through the ancient lands of the Flinders Ranges leaves an impression of deep time and persistence of plants animal and landscape in the face of wind, fire and water. What remains is a sense of endurance and sheer genius of the land and its creatures, where patterns are endlessly intricate and beautiful and habitat is constantly destroyed and renewed. I hope my work shares a version of this beauty, colour and spirit of an old land.
