What began as a spontaneous moment with a chisel and hammer has grown into a refined practice rooted in deep connection to nature. Through Nature in Sandstone, I carve locally sourced Bundanoon sandstone into forms inspired by native birds, organic shapes, and abstract impressions. Guided by the stone’s texture, I aim to evoke stillness, movement, and memory—inviting viewers to reconnect with the land’s quiet presence through public art, cultural storytelling, and hand-carved expression.
