Surrounded by a Scottish Highland cattle stud, Turned Around has workspaces for wood turning and furniture rejuvenation, and a studio space for display and workshops. Michael’s wood turning workshop has several lathes, tools and other wood working machinery as well as a store of timber. It is filled with the shavings and smell of the many different timbers that he uses for Michael’s creations. Michael’s furniture workshop has all the materials and equipment needed to create a new life for vintage and antique furniture. Michael will be joined by two other artists: Steve from Styro Pyrography will be featuring his original and personal burnings on wood. Jeremy from Lone Dog Workshop will have his handmade sustainable wooden gifts and homewares which are unique, beautiful and practical. The studio space will be full of Michael’s creations for browsing and sale. Michael will be giving wood turning demonstrations and talks about different timbers.
