The Kaleidoscope Festival is coming to Mittagong

Join Us for a Spectacular Celebration!

Wingecarribee Shire Council with the support of NSW Government are proud to be presenting The Kaleidoscope Street Festival on Saturday, 16 November 2024, from 11am – 7pm in Mittagong.

Firstly SAVE THE DATE – Sat 16 Nov 2024!

This special one off festival will feature:

Food stalls, Art activations, Cultural activities, showcasing the incredible diversity of our local community and more.

Imagine an inclusive, family-friendly environment that reflects the unique heritage of our community. Based on research, our region includes First Nations, second-generation Australians, and heritage from English, German, Irish, New Zealand, Italian, Nepalese, Scottish, Indian, Dutch, Chinese, Greek, Welsh, Filipino, and Hungarian backgrounds, among many others!

Here are some activities we’re planning

Live Creative Arts & Entertainment: Including street performers and stage performances.

Program Highlights: Performances by Irish dancers, Scottish bagpipers, jazz bands, and Māori haka as examples.

Public participation workshops: Italian folk dance demonstrations and group line dancing. Stage performances by local groups.
